Hey there! It is time for Part Two of this here “FAQ-ish” series!
So far, the New York Knicks are still deep in the playoff hunt with a .500 record at 22–22. They are currently positioned in the 6th seed but this wacky NBA season can easily knock them to fourth place or tenth place depending on the performance of other teams in the Eastern Conference. Things are looking up for the Knicks but the team is in no position to rest on their laurels. They still have a tough schedule ahead and fans have many questions about this team.

“It’s been a long time, I shouldn’t have left you/
Without a strong rhyme to step to” — Rakim the Master (“I Know You Got Soul”)
Greetings folks!
My apologies for the lack of writing content these past few months. If you follow me on social media you know that my health was in serious decline and I needed to take a break and get treatment. I am all better now! I’m ready to wear my Michael Jordan “45” jersey and get back to it.
Well…
So last night was the 2021 NBA All Stars. Yeah it was an event.
That was pretty much my reaction during the entire time watching the NBA All Star event. It was not god-awful. It was not great. It was just an exhibition game. That was it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Team LeBron won against Team Durant 170–150. Giannis Antetokuounmpo was declared the All Star MVP. Viewers themselves did not seem like they were having fun watching the game. Nothing exciting or interesting happened despite the NBA on TNT’s best attempts to “hype up the event.” The Dunk Contest was…
*(ED’s NOTE: This article was written before the Knicks traded up with the Utah Jazz for the 23rd pick. Keep in mind, while the opinion still stands on the prospects I’ve watched things are always subject to change.)
It is finally the NBA Draft!
Basketball hasn’t been gone for too long. The NBA Finals was a month ago and since then it has been relatively quiet with noises here and there such as teams doing their due diligence on the draft prospects, determining when the 2020–2021 NBA season should start, when the trade period should open, and how soon can…
This week both the Microsoft Xbox Series X and the Sony PlayStation 5 consoles will be released to the world. After much anticipation and intrigue as to what the next generation of consoles will bring to the fold, the public can learn those answers themselves. Everybody is extremely hyped for this week.
Well…everybody except me I guess.
As the old guy who has been playing video games since the age of three, I’ve learned that it is important to wait and see before rushing to buy a brand new video game console. It doesn’t mean that I will never purchase…
Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, and Dwayne Haskins are all having poor seasons.
This is not a good look for young quarterbacks who are designated to carry their franchises going forward. If they cannot display any semblance of promise or growth then their organizations are going to have big problems down the road. The quarterback is the most important position on a football team. They are the ones who teams are supposed to rally behind and elevate the offense whenever they are on the field. The best quarterbacks are the ones who not only know the ins and outs of the…
It’s finally here!
The 2020 NBA Finals is set to premiere tonight at 9PM in the Orlando Bubble! Credit to the league for doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the players and getting to this point without any setbacks. As I mentioned before, I can be the first to admit that I was wrong on the matter. My concerns were valid but luckily nothing became awry since the NBA restart.
So now we can concentrate on the most exciting basketball game of the year.
Super Mario 3D All Stars finally releases today to much fanfare from gamers everywhere. It’s Mario so you know it’s going to be good. I mean that’s a given. Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy were the premiere 3D platformers of their time with Mario 64 kicking off the era of 3D gaming while Sunshine and Galaxy found unique ways to expand on said 3D gaming formula. I played these games when they initially came out and would like to soon have a copy and play these games again for my amusement.
One problem: I don’t…
Hello!
It’s been a while. I couldn’t get the chance to do one of these last time due to an important prior engagement but I’m free now we can continue to discuss the NBA Playoffs in the Orlando Bubble.
Last time I did a proper analysis we were on the precipice of the Conference Semifinals. A lot has happened since then and we are now entering the Conference Finals (for three of these teams anyway). It’s been a strange road to get here. The teams I initially thought were pretenders (Denver Nuggets) turned out to be more talented than I…
I changed and rewrote this opinion piece several times. Initially I wanted to put this article out as far back as July when we were underway with the return of sports in the United States. I initially wanted to dissect on how things have changed since the mass resurgence of the Black Lives Matter Movement. I wanted to analyze and give a perspective on how each of the major sports leagues in America have handled the responses and if they were serious about keeping the masses informed on what’s going on and if there’s any major changes in the approach…
